Balmer Lawrie Van Leer Ltd is having state of the art facilities for manufacture of Drum gaskets These Drum Top Gaskets are widely used in Open Head Steel & Plastic Drums.
The leak proof property of Drum Top Gaskets makes it ideal for the packaging industry. Drum Gaskets are Vulcanised Joint as per required length. These gaskets are compatible with Food Contact applications. The Weather Resistance property of drum gaskets makes them perfect for open top drums
According the application BLVL is producing gaskets in various elastomer segments like EPDM & NBR( Buna ).
EPDM Gaskets :

- Gaskets produced with EPDM polymer known for its excellent weather resistance, including resistance to ozone, UV radiation, and aging.
- It maintains flexibility at low temperatures and can withstand high temperatures, depending on the specific grade and formulation.
- These washers are Perfect choice to protect against leakage or contamination of packaged goods.
NBR ( BUNA) Gaskets
Key Characteristics:
- Gaskets produced with Nitrile or Buna known for its resistance to oil, fuel, and other chemicals.
- Good resistance to abrasion and wear.
- Can be formulated for a range of flexibility and low-temperature performance.
Available Sizes:
30, 40, 50, 60, 120, 210 & 265 Liters & Pail Drum Gaskets.
Manufacturing Capabilities
- We are equipped with: Inhouse Rubber compounding with Two roll Mixing mill
- For the Extrusion process Gear pump attached extruder for uniform throughput.
- Curing process is done with Liquid Curing Method ( LCM-line)
- Production capacity of 3 Million gaskets / Anum
