These are some of the important features of the Open Head Drum:

• Open-Head / Removable Lid - “Large diameter lid,” i.e. the top cover can be removed (open head) for ease of filling, cleaning, and emptying.
• Parallel Body & Straight Sides - The drum has a parallel body (i.e. straight sides) which makes for efficient packing/configuration; plus total emptying is easier.
• Specially Curled Body Flange - The top edge flap (“flange”) is curled specially—this helps in securing the lid, ensuring sealing, handling etc.
• Variable Heights & Volumes - The body of the drum is continuously extruded, allowing variability in height (thus capacity) to match specific customer requirements.
• Ease of cleaning and total emptyability - Designed so that nothing (or very little) remains inside after emptying; cleaning is easier due to open top and straight sides. 
• Conforms to UN specifications - The drums conform to United Nations safety/packaging standards for transporting hazardous materials etc.
